W3 "Blue Yodel No. 2"

This week I listened to "Blue Yodel No. 2" by Jimmie Rodgers, after hearing the song in class it just really stuck out to me. I love the yodeling, that is definitely what has stuck out to me the most from this song. I haven't really listened to a song that has had yodeling in it. I think it's really cool to see that yodeling in that time has not been done really before. It can kind of explain how he is tied to it, that John Hurt himself probably met and was afflicted by many "bad men" as the song refers to Stagolee. I love how he can use the music as an outlet for the feelings and thoughts of his soul as well as for anyone! What caught my attention the most about this song, is the emotion and power he gives off as he sings, also t...
